Stars of the Universe Youth Leadership is value based interactive and practical program designed to equip youth, ages 10-18 with the skills needed to become productive and success oriented adults and community leaders Workshops are age appropriate and topics can be taught separately or integrated as part of a package.

 Stars: Ages 10-12 years
This workshop introduces junior teens  to the skills, which will enable them to confront the pressures associated with this time of developmental change.They begin to develop the skills needed to make positive choices, maintain a sense of self-worth and form lasting friendships.

Topics covered are:

  • Age appropriate independence
  • Self esteem building
  • Developing positive friendship
  • Dealing with conflicting demands and pressures
  • Handling emotions in various situations
  • Stereotype and body image
  • Respectfulness to parents and those in authority
  • The winning attitude

  • Dream catchers

 Stars: Ages 13-15 years

During this workshop teens learn healthy communication, social and life skills. They become more aware of their positive strengths and abilities, which promote self-esteem and help them daily teen issues.

  • Communicating respectfully (anger and attitude management)
  • Developing positive friendships
  • Dealing with peer pressures
  • Enhancing communication and interpersonal skills
  • How to be self motivated /Cultivating problem solving habits

Stars:  Ages 16-18

The Workshop helps youths understand the changes, demands and difficulties teens face in their everyday lives. It provides teens with opportunities to learn how to make informed choices and improve coping skills, thereby preparing them for leadership positions in the home, school and community.
