Before joining Girls of Destiny Canada, I was terrified of public speaking. Through their workshops, I gained the confidence to express myself.
Girls of Destiny Canada taught me how to lead with empathy and confidence. I used these skills to organize a fundraising event for my community, raising over $2,000 for local women’s shelters. I never imagined I could make such a big impact!
I didn’t think I was smart enough for technology until I attended the online STEM program. I built my first App and realized I love coding!
The confidence-building sessions helped me see my worth. For the first time, I believe in myself and my abilities. I’ve started journaling and even presented my story at a school assembly!
